A Task Bar Hero farming guide for choosing safe stages, comparing EXP and gold, and deciding when to stop pushing.

Task Bar Hero farming stages

The best farming stage is not always the highest unlocked stage. It is the stage your party clears safely, quickly, and repeatedly while still moving the next upgrade forward.

Farming Decision Table

Party dies during normal wavesStep back and farm a safer stage.
Party survives but clears slowlyImprove damage, AoE, attack speed, or weapon quality.
Boss ends the runSwitch to a sustain and focused-damage build.
Rewards no longer helpMove forward or farm a route tied to materials, pets, or runes.

Clear Time Matters

A higher stage with slow clears can lose to a lower stage with fast clears. Count the full loop: travel, waves, boss pressure, loot checks, and failure rate.

Farm for a Reason

Good farming has a target. You may be farming for gold, hero levels, pet unlocks, Cube materials, Soulstones, or better gear. If the stage does not support the target, it is probably not the best stop.

Safe Stages Are Valuable

A safe stage gives better idle value because it reduces resets and attention checks. This matters more in Task Bar Hero than in a game where you actively control every fight.

When to Push Again

Push again after you have solved the reason you stopped. If the wall was survival, upgrade armor, healing, or frontline stats. If it was damage, upgrade weapons, skills, or AoE.
