Task Bar Hero pet farming guide

Pets are a support layer. They should improve farming, survival, or long idle comfort, but they should not replace your core party, Rune Tree, or Cube upgrades.

Pet Planning Table

Pet GoalBest UseFarming Logic
Bat-style early unlockEXP and chest comfortUse early bat stages only if clears are stable.
Gold supportFaster Rune Tree growthFarm where kill speed stays high.
Survival supportPush consistencyUse after the party already has a basic frontline.
Damage supportFaster clear timesBest when deaths are no longer the main issue.
Long idle supportFewer failed sessionsChoose safe routes over risky high-stage routes.

When to Farm Pets

Pet farming is best when you are blocked by a stage wall or when you can leave the game running for a long session. If your next upgrade is clearly a Rune Tree slot or weapon upgrade, do that first.

Do Not Over-Farm Too Early

Early pet goals can be useful, but a weak party will still fail. Get your basic build, gear, and Rune Tree path moving before spending too much time on narrow pet progress.

How to Pick a Route

Choose a route where the target enemy appears often, the party clears safely, and the rewards still matter. If a pet route slows every other part of progression, delay it.

Practical Rule

Farm pets when the route is stable enough to run unattended and the pet bonus supports your next real bottleneck.
