Task Bar Hero DLC Class Buying Guide: Priest, Hunter, and Slayer
Task Bar Hero has a mix of starter heroes, a free DLC class, and paid class options. The safest way to think about DLC is by party problem, not by hype.
Class Decision Table
| Class | Access | Best For | Check Before Choosing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priest | Free DLC | Sustain, longer pushes, safer idle runs | Add it before buying a paid class if survival is the wall. |
| Hunter | Paid class | Boss pressure, controlled ranged damage | Better when your team already survives long enough. |
| Slayer | Paid class | Melee burst, lifesteal, aggressive play | Needs enough gear and sustain support. |
Start With Priest
Priest is the easiest first DLC recommendation because it is free and solves a common early problem: your team dies before damage matters. A healer or support layer can make Knight, Ranger, and Sorcerer setups feel much more stable.
If you have not claimed Priest yet, do that before judging whether Hunter or Slayer is necessary.
Hunter vs Slayer
| If Your Problem Is | Consider |
|---|---|
| Boss survives too long | Hunter |
| You need safer ranged pressure | Hunter |
| You want aggressive melee burst | Slayer |
| You already have strong sustain | Slayer becomes easier to support |
| Your frontline collapses instantly | Neither paid class fixes that alone |
Paid Class Buying Rule
Do not buy a class only because it is ranked highly. Buy it when the role matches a problem you can name:
- "I need controlled boss damage."
- "I want a melee burst path and can support it."
- "My current build has enough sustain but lacks focused damage."
If the problem is unclear, improve runes, gear, and Cube basics first.
